The Client
The historic Gananoque Inn in Gananoque, Ontario is nestled on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in a small town setting in the heart of the world famous Thousand Islands.
The Challenge
The travel industry is very competitive. Most travellers do a majority of the trip planning using the web. The Gananoque Inn is competing with several Inns with the same quality and general location.
The Result
We incorporated a whole web marketing plan that included: keyword optimization (determining which keywords people will use in a search engine the most to find you), metatag development, content recommendations, search engine submissions and link placement.
On top of this we wanted to help them be able to measure the success of their efforts online so we provide: quarterly search engine ranking reports, web stats anaylsis, paid listing reports (what Inns are paying the search engines under what keywords) and referral reports (where is their traffic coming from).
