Kingston Humane Society
The Client
The Kingston Humane Society is a non profit ? charitable animal welfare organizations supported solely by public and corporate donations, memberships, grants, bequests, fundraising campaigns and fees for service. Although the Society upholds and enforces municipal, provincial and federal government laws, they receive no government funding or tax dollars.
The Challenge
To re-design the pre existing website using elements from a newly created newsletter and incorporate up to date pet for adoption listings.
The Result
A clean design with a warm and cuddly feel. The real success with this website is the methods we used to ensure that their pet for adoptions listings is always up to date. After some extensive meetings with the staff at the KHS, we found a way to integrate their internal pet management database directly with the website to ensure that their adoption listings are always up to date and there is no need for additional staff to maintain both systems at once.
