National Paddling Week was created to boost awareness of national paddling sports, craft, and heritage. The goal is to get as many Canadians in the water and counted during National Paddling Week to show the national commitment to wellness and awareness of the benefits of paddling.

The Challenge

As a brand new initiative National Paddling Week posed a unique challenge with their website; determining what was the most important information for users to see first on the site to help them understand and easily participate in National Paddling Week.

The Result

The website includes video and pictures on the home page that highlight all the Paddling options and then has graphical indicators to promote registration. The long scrolling home page also allows much more information to be available to the user without having to click through into multiple pages.
